Parent setup

The parent PIN lives only on this device (hashed with PBKDF2, never sent anywhere). It protects settings, exports, deleting data, and every share action. There are no child accounts and no sign-in.

What this app will never do

Safety is the architecture

No child accounts

Nobody signs in. We collect no names, emails, birthdays, photos, or locations from children.

No outside contact

No chat, no comments, no messaging, no public posting, no strangers. The app cannot reach other people.

No trackers

No analytics, ads, third-party scripts, or embeds. A strict Content-Security-Policy blocks them in the browser.

Sensors off

Camera, microphone, and location are switched off for the whole site by Permissions-Policy.

Parent holds the key

Settings, exports, deletes, and sharing all require the parent PIN. Sharing means a parent saves a file.

Double-Key releases

In the Senior Studio, an episode is only sealed when the student and a parent or faculty sponsor both turn their keys.
